"Properties were on the market for just 17 days in April, and 88 percent of homes sold were on the market for less than a month...Boston was fourth, with a 14.9 percent year-over-year increase"
This really sucks if you are looking to buy a home in the Boston area, but is great for existing homeowners. If you own a $500k home, you made $75k just for living in your home in the past year. This is why the rich get richer. |

Yes, that's more than $200 per night just sleeping in your house. Over the past year, it's been disheartening to see BLIND #BiddingWars turn the housing market into the Hunger Games, pitting buyer against buyer.
A number of months, 1 in 10 bidding wars soared $100K over ask.
So we've moved away from Commonwealth to "To each their home.℠" the National Association of Realtors new marketing slogan. Whatever happened to the American Dream?
