Yes, interesting. Indeed.

Yet the "real estate experts" in this article would disagree with you. True, the article is almost a month old. Then again why on earth would a "real estate expert" want rents to be more affordable and housing prices to not be "soaring" all the time, even during a pandemic, massive unemployment and a looming economic crisis:

I've never seen so many apartment advertisements all over the internet
and elsewhere than this year. I see for rent signs in front of buildings here
in the city like never before.

"real estate experts", i.e. realtors, want to incite panic so they can collect fees or commissions.

Very few people looking for apartments at this time because tens of thousands of college students are remote learning at home and tens of thousands of unemployed people are living rent free in their current apartments.
