Which Party stands up for the folks that work hard, wait in line and play by the rules? One party complains about the deadbeats that don't want to work, and the other party complains about the corporate welfare. How could basically a two party system seem to fail to represent the vast majority in the middle?

Here is the socialist Clinton's Plan. Freeze rates...

http://money.cnn.com/2007/12/05/real_estate/Clinton_foreclosure_prevention/index.htm

So how about in the "Wheel of Fortune" show, can we freeze the spin to help whomever we want?

Don't you think it would have been fairer to those who actually paid a premium because the subprime idiots drove up the market to give those folks a tax abatement, or put the people that are upside down in a 35 or 40 year mortgage or at least start the clock of the 30 years over? I mean for God sake this is a complete hand out for making a mistake. It is rewarding poor judgement and giving amnesty to the sleazy professionals.

You know, when the market was going up, people made money. When it remained flat, the hedge funds made money by riding the small bumps with high volume. Now, these huge 1000 point swings on the Down within a month are creating a huge amount of wealth for anyone who might be tied in to the decisionmaking at the FED.

Imagine if there was insider trading or a spy who would leak what the FED was going to do in these past few months. I know the FED is speaking with many of the big banks, and if they catch wind that he is going to drop rates, they can make a ton of money.

Guys, can you imagine if anyone in the Bush Administration, or Paulson or Marsh on the FED tipped off any of their cronies in the financial industry? I mean the guy from Ameriquest was calling Deval Patrick, and the cooking lady, what's her name with the poncho went to jail for inside information. Oh, yeah, Martha Stewart.... Can you imagine what a scandal that would be. A friggin global scandal unprecedented; holy smokes... I mean this is why you don't want government intervention because like we criticize some countries for cooking up their currency, this sort of thing will send shock waves through the market. If there is collusion this would be huge. I mean all the conspiracy theory folks will be looking for the Black Nobility and New World Order networks of corruption. I wonder if the press is smart enough to even get this, I mean they tend to feed off of low hanging fruits like stained blue dresses and this would require some thinking. Is the Bush Administration that wreckless and stupid? I really want to know who was in the meetings where they were discussing the policy change.

I like this guy's quote:

Quote:
"Give me control of a nation's monetary system and I
care not who writes their laws."
- - Meyer Rothschild

I'm really not like one of those consipiracy types, it is just worth understanding the structure of how private banks control the fundamental basis of our economy and society.

These banks charge us for the cost of doing business, so why doesn't the United States charge them for creating the security for them.

Think of it this way, we pay the mortgages which go to these banks, they can control the amount of money in the economy by creating reserve rates and can pump unearned dollars into circulation creating bubbles. We also pay taxes to pay for basic infrastructure and services to keep the economic machinery operating as well as pay taxes for military to keep the economy safe from sabotage, rebellion or foreign attack.

These banking cartels were very important in stabilizing the world and if our population acts irresponsibly like children we almost need them in a way, or I would imagine that this is how they rationalize things, like we are an uneducated mob that would go on a wild bender and collapse without their control.

My point is that our society and the world is much more stable than during the times of the World Wars. These bank cartels need to release their strangle hold on us or it will be put on them.

http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2007/12/12/fed_considering_more_liquidity_moves/

"Amnesty" is a derogatory word for Republicans right? Who's getting forgiveness now?

"Global Test" was a term John Kerry lost points on remember? Why is the Fed benchmarking with other banks?

Wasn't it the Republicans who empowered these crazies in the Middle East, fought the progress of new energy technologies labeling people "tree huggers", then they deregulated as many industries as they could to a point where things were the Wild West, and then the Fed creates the housing bubble by lowering interest rates? Sadly, all I hear from Democrats are a string of feel-good cliches. I'm getting too old to be stirred by touchey-feeley nonsense.

The FED reports to the United States, period. What we're seeing is a global cartel of banks trying to ride herd on a bunch of nations.

If it is time for a Global Reserve, gold standard, or global medium of echange, let's talk about that, but the Global cartels should not usurp their power in a United States Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Those folks in Europe get like 2 months vacation, they get free day care for almost six months, dont' have to pay for a Military and have health care covered. I do not want to pull a sled that has people that don't work as hard as I do and are not Red White and Blue.

I am not against a set of global leaders who want to manage capitalistic affairs, it should, however, not be done in the shadows. Get together at Bretton Woods or something, but what is going on isn't right. It is kind of like how capitalism grew beyond it's soverign borders. In a way we should be happy that the world is coming together in one community, but if things aren't dealt with openly, we will just stumble into problems and not have the appropriate forum to address them.
