|
|
It's very strange that recently the housing market is not doing well (home sales are at their lowest level in nearly 4-5 years), with the tide of sub-prime problems, and gasoline prices are soaring, and even retailers are not doing so well (according to yesterday's report), however the stock market keeps setting new records.
This is something I don't understand, though I guess it's just some new money moved from housing market to stock market. In the old day, these selectors were pretty much synced.
Any idea?
PS: BTW, Although I am a bit worry it's another bubble again, I love AAPL! |

Yup ... no news is bad news for the market!
I think the woes in the sectors are fueling speculation of a fed rate cut, which I think is highly unlikely given how so-called "core" inflation is still higher than normal. If anything it should have been another 1/4 point higher before they stopped.
But, it's this kind of euphoria that preceded the 1929 stock crash ... just "different this time". Yeah ... right. |
